This is just an example, but most vehicles have a weight rating certification plate on the tow-hitch or next to them – check your vehicle. A lot of vehicles will be 750kgs Unbraked Rating and 1500kgs Braked rated. So, if you want to maximise your payload capacity and remain legal best to check this certification plate on your vehicle and ensure you’re complying with what it says.
